For the Alumni

An alumni is someone who has completed the full Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life retreat (SEEL).

If you would like to continue your journey in the Spiritual Exercises, the alumni group may be a way for you to do that. Alumni participate in the regularly scheduled SEEL Saturday retreats by listening to the reflection, spending quiet time in personal prayer, and participating in sacred listening with other alumni.  The emphasis for alumni is on personal reflection and spiritual growth.

We ask that alumni choose ONE of the following options:

• Virtual alumni group
• In-person alumni group

The SEEL Retreat 2024-2025

Advance registration is required. Alumni register by sending an email to Jeanette at the email listed below.

Registration closed by midnight, September 1, 2024.

Your email to SpiritualExercises.SEELPDX@gmail.com will serve as your registration.

To defray costs, the requested donation for the nine-month retreat is $200.

We cannot accept cash, please mail a check made payable to SEEL Portland by September 1, 2024 to:

No one will be refused the retreat because of cost. Let us know what you can donate when you register.

The 2024-2025 SEEL retreat will be both an in person and an online experience. We are excited to be able to offer the Spiritual Exercises in formats that will open the retreat experience to graces in unexpected ways for a diversity of people and places. The retreat will offer alumni…
